Gabriola Island Sunset Proposal at Malaspina Galleries

Last summer I had a gorgeous wedding to photograph at Pearson College in Sooke, Vancouver Island, and I’ve been trying to visit more of the smaller islands, so this time I went to Gabriola for a few days. I went out to Malaspina Galleries for sunset one night and met this super sweet couple who had literally JUST got engaged mere minutes before! I sadly didn’t get to see that moment, but I offered to take some quick photos to document the occasion, and long story short, I’m going to be back on Gabriola Island this coming July to photograph their wedding! I cannot wait! I just get so lucky sometimes and I’m so grateful for all of the lovely and amazing people I get to meet and worth with.
