Hi! I’m Lauren - a wedding, music, and portrait photographer located in the Niagara Region, Canada, but always looking to travel! I’m a nature loving, road trip and music obsessed, wildlife watching nerd, and I love celebrating love.
I’m in Vancouver and Vancouver Island, British Columbia 3 to 4 times a year to photograph weddings as well. It is my second home and I love it so much.
At the heart of it, I love meeting people, hearing their stories, and hanging out.
My roots are in concert photography and the local music scene. I’m driven by my interest in the arts, folklore, human connection, and exploration of both the world and photography.

Beyond Just Your Wedding Photographer
It’s important that you know a bit about me because if you choose to work with me as your wedding photographer, we will be spending alot of time together! From the first meeting to the engagement session, to the entire wedding day, I’ll be there not only to take photos, but to help you create your timeline, and keep us on track time wise, carry your dress, and problem solve all sorts of little things. The people around you can influence your mood, so it’s important to me that myself and my second shooters provide a positive, supportive, safe, and fun photo-taking environment to keep up the good vibes! Being able to read the room and anticipate moments is a key skill I pride myself in having.
Photos That Make You Feel
I want you to look back at your photos and remember how the day felt - how it felt to hug your Gran, how it felt to dance with your partner, heck, how it felt when your partner was doing the worm on the dance floor! I want to capture your parents wiping tears out of their eyes. Your experience is paramount.
It’s important that we have a friendly and candid working relationship because connection and comfort create the good stuff, and because I care. I didn’t get into photographing weddings because I love business. I got into it because I love photography, celebrating people, and new experiences.

How I Shoot
My style is a moment driven, candid, romantic, light hearted, and fun. A mix of candid and posed, with an emphasis on prompted, more natural posing. I like to position people in good lighting with some direction and allow the moments to unfold naturally.
I love to get creative and I enjoy the challenge of telling each story in a way that reflects the people I’m working with.
Photography is an art, but wedding and portrait photography is also a collaborative process. I provide a stress free and judgement free shooting environment where you feel encouraged to be yourselves, and that’s how we get photographs that are a more authentic and true representation of your relationship!

Let’s make this part straightforward! Each option already includes tax already in the price, so what you see is the final price. No surprises! Travel and parking fees may apply for engagement shoots.
Option 1: $4800
10 hours
2 photographers (for more angles, more photos, more piece of mind, and splitting up and saving time for getting ready!)
a complimentary engagement session (fun practice session, even more important people who are nervous!)
online gallery and USB package
Includes 1 complimentary roll of 35mm film (to capture your day with that vintage, nostalgic magic that film gives)
Minimum 900 edits.
10x10 wedding album (because we should be printing our memories)
8x8 engagement album (can be used as a signing album)
Option 2 : $4000 (most popular!)
everything in option 1, minus the albums!
Option 3 : $3400
10 hours, 1 photographer, complimentary engagement session, online gallery and USB copy.
Includes one roll of 35mm film. Miniumum 900 edits
Option 4 : $2600
6 hours, 1 photographer (me!), engagement session, online gallery. Minimum 600 edits.
Courthouse Wedding - $650 for 2 hours

Tell me more about film photography?
Sure! I love taking photos on 35mm and 120 film. I can explain more about exact film stocks when we meet, but I love film because it provides a nostalgic, grainy, timeless feel that you can’t always get with digital. The colours aren’t edited. There is an “it is what it is” aspect about it. Something real. I also like that my film work does not look exactly like my digital, so you are getting two different looks to your wedding photography!
