2015 Year In Review : Niagara Wedding Photography

I can't believe 2015 is already over and that 2016 is upon us! I am so truly lucky to be able to do what I love for a living.
I am seriously grateful for the amazing couples and individuals that I was able to work with in 2015 and I have met so many couples this year  (some of which you will see here in the engagement photos) that I can't wait to work with this coming year.

In 2015 I shot 25 weddings and I am not even going to try and count the number of engagement/family/music/events that I covered. I travelled to British Columbia on my second solo adventure where I shot two engagement sessions and also went whale watching twice, bear watching and sea kayaking.

I was hired to go on a five day trip to shoot promotional materials for Great Blue Resorts,  arranged my first stylized bridal shoot, made it onto a preferred vendors list at a venue,  got to see some of my favourite bands, and worked for other amazing artists and organizers in the community to cover music festivals and shows.

With the start of a new year comes new business and creative personal goals, but I think reflecting on the past year is also an important thing to do. I also just love to look back at my couples photos! To see how far one has come makes bigger goals seem more and more possible to reach. Of course, I wouldn't be anywhere without the referrals and support I receive from my clients and their friends and families, my own friends and family, and that of other vendors who I have been so lucky to work with this year. There is really some great talent in the Niagara Region and I feel honoured to be able to know and work with so many great people in this industry.

A final thank you to my dedicated main two second shooters,  Ami Holmes and Josh Moody for all of their help this year!  Cheers to an even better 2016!
